Dream Catchers is the family home of the Fernandez family: Bernard Fernandez, his wife Sali, and their two children. They live in a large Portuguese style house on a neighborhood street conveniently placed at walking distance from both Fort Cochin and the Jewish town.The family is Catholic and of Portuguese descent, they have 8 generations of history in Fort Cochin and know the surrounding area inside out.

           They take part in all the local festivals, their favorites being Onam in September when they serve guests with a “Sadya” feast, and at Christmas time when they decorate the whole house with lights. Sali has taken classes in European cooking and also makes delicious Keralan dishes; the family love having guests in the house and giving them the hospitality of family friends.. The guests’ rooms are upstairs along an open white painted balcony which looks out onto the red tiled roofs and coconut trees of the neighborhood. The main living room is downstairs where guests can sit and chat with the family
